From Abroad

Some international flights now go to Hurghada. Otherwise you can fly direct to Cairo, then either take an internal flight or go overland by bus or by car.

 

From Cairo

By air: Egypt Air operates flights to Hurghada.
Overland: Either book a tour or hire your own transport. However bear in mind that desert driving has special requirements. It is also advisable to get a suitable vehicle and guidance on possible hazards. Alternatively, you can travel to each location by bus or service taxi and arrange trips from there.
By train: From Ramses Station.
Suez:

Service taxis or bus sevice from Kolali terminal, Ramses Station.

Ain Sukhana: Service taxis or bus service from Suez. By private transport from Cairo.
Safaga, al-Quseir, Mersa Alam, Berenice Bus, service taxis or tours from Hurghada. You may need a special permit to visit Berenice. Check at the Frontiers Administration office in Cairo.
