An Egyptian-Italian archeological team
stumbled on a winery dating back to the
Greco-Roman period in Fayoum.
The team which is working on the restoration
of "Kom Madi" temple also found remnants
of a brick fence, rooms attached to the
winery and bronze coins from the same
era.
