Nine
mummies were found April 8 in a tomb at
the Bahariya oasis in Egypt's Western
Desert, but unlike other finds in the
area they were without any jewellery. The
tombs were first uncovered last year,
including one containing a mummy decorated
with 100 gold amulets, the largest number
ever found on one mummy.
